Having spent more than two decades as a senior executive, investment manager, and investor, Daniel founded GFI in 2007 to create an investment counsel with a relentless focus on client service, performance and transparency.

Committed to lifelong learning and continuing education, Daniel is a CFA charterholder and received his undergraduate degree from the University of Western Ontario. Daniel completed executive education in Behavioural Finance and Investing from Harvard University. He also taught Financial Planning at the Schulich School of Business.

Previously, Daniel was on the board of directors of Dundee Corporation (TSX: DC.A) and served on the Finance and Investment Committee of the Mount Sinai Hospital Foundation of Toronto.

Daniel resides in Toronto with his wife and three children.
